Bring Production Context Into Cursor

Cursor understands your codebase. ResolveAI understands and runs your production systems.

Know what is happening before you edit

Cursor can trace code paths and make changes across your repository. But code alone cannot show what is happening in production right now. The ResolveAI plugin connects Cursor to production context and investigations through MCP.

  • Check service health before a change

Use prod-context to pull current traffic, telemetry coverage, baseline error rates, recent deploys, and open alerts before changing application code, infrastructure, configuration, or migrations.

  • Surface the alerts that matter

Use overview for a quick snapshot of production work, or alerts to filter firing alerts by team, severity, time range, or investigation status.

  • Bring an investigation alongside the code

Use investigate to open an existing Resolve investigation or start a new one from Cursor. If the repository reveals a relevant query, configuration, or recent change, add it to the investigation with steer.

  • Turn the remediation into code

Use apply-fix to translate ResolveAI's findings and remediation plan into changes in the local repository and a pull request for review. Use investigations or chats to return to recent work, and ask to continue a question from Cursor without reconstructing its production context.

From production context to reviewable change

Each skill packages a repeatable workflow on top of ResolveAI's MCP tools. Cursor can select the right skill from your request, or you can invoke one directly.

  • Establish the current state

ResolveAI surfaces the traffic, telemetry, deploys, and alerts around the code you are preparing to change.

  • Connect production behavior to the implementation

Open a relevant investigation in Cursor and inspect its evidence alongside the affected code.

  • Make the change with evidence in view

Cursor can implement the remediation and prepare a pull request. The developer reviews and merges it through the team's normal workflow.
