Claude Code gives you an interactive terminal loop across your repository and development tools. ResolveAI lets you use that loop to understand and take action on what is happening in production.
Claude Code can trace code paths and act on the repository in front of it. But code alone cannot show what is happening in production right now. The ResolveAI plugin connects Claude Code to production context and investigations through MCP. That lets the conversation move between production questions, operational evidence, and the local implementation without leaving the terminal.
Use overview for a compact snapshot of recent alerts, investigations, and chats. Use alerts when you need to narrow the view by team, severity, time range, or investigation status.
Use ask to question Resolve in a new chat or continue an existing one. Claude Code can bring the answer back into the repository context for the next step in the conversation.
Use investigate to join an existing Resolve investigation or start a new root-cause analysis from a problem description.
Use steer to send a code-level finding, hypothesis, or instruction into the active investigation. ResolveAI can test it against the production evidence while Claude Code continues examining the implementation. When the evidence supports a remediation, use apply-fix to translate the findings into local code changes and a pull request for review. Use prod-context first when you need to check the service's current state before implementing it.
Each skill packages a repeatable workflow on top of ResolveAI's MCP tools. Claude Code can select the right skill from your request, or you can invoke it as a namespaced slash command, such as /resolve-ai:investigate.
Start with a production question, alert, or investigation already in progress.
ResolveAI tests theories across the connected production systems while Claude Code contributes context from the repository.
Claude Code can implement the proposed remediation and prepare a pull request for developer review.

run /mcp to check the resolve-ai connection, and authenticate with your ResolveAI organization when prompted. No API key is needed for normal plugin use.
Once connected, use /resolve-ai:demo for a guided tour with your organization's live ResolveAI data.
It is a Claude Code plugin that packages a ResolveAI MCP connection with skills for common production workflows. The underlying MCP tools can also be used directly by other compatible clients.
Claude Code can select a ResolveAI skill from the intent of your request. Namespaced slash commands are available when you want to invoke a specific workflow directly.
The MCP connection uses OAuth and prompts you to sign in to your ResolveAI organization.
ResolveAI supplies the production findings and remediation plan. Claude Code uses that context to propose and implement changes in the local repository. You can review the work before opening or merging a pull request.
