Blueground, a leading proptech company, redefines modern living by offering beautifully furnished apartments for long-term stays, with over 20,000 premium units across 52 cities globally. The platform connects renters to homes owned by more than 5,000 property partners, adding another 18,000 properties and serving 4,000 corporate customers. Through a mix of acquisitions, rapid expansion, and a growing franchise model, Blueground scales its offering across high-value markets. Initially applying AI to automate customer support and sales inquiries, Blueground now brings agentic AI into engineering, deploying Resolve AI to manage production systems with real-time triage, root cause analysis, and hands-free on-call support.
As Blueground expanded globally and launched innovative housing models, its technical infrastructure became increasingly complex, posing a threat to its new market launches, partner integrations, and innovative housing models. What started as manageable systems evolved into a dense web of Kubernetes clusters, AWS services, and monitoring tools with multi-region replication and edge-accelerated architecture that handles over 1,000 daily queries with sub-100 ms response times.
The platform scaled well for users, but when something broke, finding the root cause felt like searching for a needle in a haystack. Engineers spent more time playing detective than actually solving problems. Worse yet, incidents don't respect business hours. A database hiccup at 3 PM GTM in the US could wake up an engineer in Greece.
Junior engineers felt overwhelmed and afraid to touch anything. Senior engineers were trapped in an endless cycle of firefighting, pulled away from building the future to fix problems in the present.
Together, Blueground and Resolve AI are shifting from “react and respond” towards “predict and prevent,” building a tech-driven property platform for global scale.
Rather than simply aggregating data, it behaves like a decision-making teammate that reasons like an experienced engineer. Here's what changed: When an incident happens now, Resolve AI immediately gets to work. It analyzes what's wrong, determines the severity, and posts a clear summary directly in Slack. No more jumping between endless dashboards.
When on-call, instead of getting out of bed and piecing together data at 3 a.m., the team now checks Resolve AI’s Slack summary for full context. Non-critical alerts are clearly flagged, allowing users to return to sleep with confidence. That peace of mind is transformative.
Where static runbooks and incident-management training were once needed, Resolve AI now generates dynamic, context-aware runbooks by reasoning over telemetry, cloud infrastructure, and service dependencies. Because Blueground invested in robust observability and dashboarding, Resolve AI consistently delivers reliable guidance, empowering even junior engineers to manage incidents and liberating senior engineers from constant firefighting.
Resolve AI simplifies incident response while accelerating recovery. It autonomously identifies root causes, maps blast radii, and surfaces evidence—no manual stitching required. Its ability to correlate infrastructure and application metrics turns alert triage into an efficient, insight-driven workflow.
Blueground benefits with Resolve AI:
For Blueground’s mixed-experience team, Resolve AI boosts confidence among junior engineers and protects senior staff from unnecessary context switching.
Blueground is evolving its use of Resolve AI into the central hub for managing production systems with deeper telemetry integration and real-time reliability guidance. What’s next:
